A Beautiful Muskoka Wedding At Sherwood Inn

Drew and Nicole wanted an elegantly casual Muskoka wedding. Drew Doughty plays NHL hockey for the L.A Kings, but their Canadian roots led them to host their special day in Canada’s Muskoka region at the Sherwood Inn. We had the most fabulous time designing their pretty wedding with the amazing Toronto wedding planner Ashley Pigott. Nicole is a notable fashion photographer and her creative eye was an asset in every creative meeting. The design for the decor and flowers reflected Nicoles’ down-to-earth relaxed and friendly personality. Soft and pretty but approachable was the goal! Not pretentious or overdone, this Muskoka wedding was the essence of rustic elegance. Our creative team designed a stunning overgrown of sorts, floral canopy for the ceremony that fit right into the Muskoka canvas. Guests would gather later under a tent for dinner and dancing.

Floating Tent Wedding In Muskoka

Lyndsay and Greg’s beautiful Muskoka tent wedding on Lake Joseph took rustic romance to a new level. The couple celebrated in style on a private island owned by the brides family. We constructed a pretty floral arch which marked the spot for the ceremony on their private beach, however, various elevations and rugged terrain made erecting the clear top tent for the reception, on the island difficult. This was not a deterrent to host their wedding day at this special spot. Collaborating with engineers and barge company, Premier Tents was able to build the tent on a floating barge! Collaborating with the amazing wedding planner Ashley Pigott, of Toronto, and a list of other vendors, our team handled the logistical challenges of transporting all goods to the island with ease. Guests dined over looking Lake Joseph and enjoyed dinner and dancing as the sun set on the Muskoka horizon. Congratulations Lyndsay and Greg! Thank you for trusting us with your special day! John and Aryne Tavares Wedding At Peller Estates

NHL’er and Toronto Maple Leaf John Tavares, hung his skates up to celebrate his incredible wedding with his beautiful bride Aryne on a especially hot summer day. It was such a pleasure to do the floral and decor for their vineyard wedding hosted in a beautiful tent at Peller Estates. Aryne wanted and elegant affair that embraced the warm romance of the Niagara vineyards. Aryne’s infectious smile and warm spirit made for wonderful creative meetings and we had so much fun collaborating with wedding planner Laura from Laura and Co. We had understated elegance in mind when we designed the ceremony which over looking the beautiful vineyards. Our team created a gorgeous organic floral arch that created a pretty focal point for the couple to exchange vows. We also designed and created a rustic yet refined atmosphere with beautiful trailing florals and foliage. A show stopper enormous floral chandelier was suspended over the dance floor area and created an intimate feel in the large tent. In addition life size trees were placed strategically through out the tent. Thank you John and Aryne for trusting us with your special day! xo
