A Vintage Wedding At Steam Whistle Brewery

When Toronto wedding planner Crystal from Distinct Occasions, told us about her clients who were living abroad but planning a  vintage wedding at the Steam Whistle Brewery, we were tickled to be included. Amanda and Ross had a vision in mind and we were thrilled to be a part of this beautiful wedding. The decor and flowers would be a simple and eclectic blend of vintage elements. Mason jars with single blooms of flowers served as centrepieces and our old fashioned retro stringed lights were key elements in the decor plan. A ribbon backdrop created a simple but intentional back drop for the ceremony. Collections of old vases and antiques were collected by this creative couple and added the personal touch to the decor. Absolutely loved these images sent over by the hugely talented Natalie Spencer Photography. So thankful for photographers that share their work with us and wedding planners who trust us with their clients.  For always stylish wedding decor and flowers in Toronto and surrounding areas visit us at www.rachelaclingen.com

Weddings At Windermere House Muskoka

  • Friends and family from all over the world enjoyed a weekend at the beautiful Windermere House in Muskoka for our lovely couple, Emma and Roberts’ lakeside wedding. We always love weddings in Muskoka and were thrilled to design the flowers and decor for this boutique style wedding. The historical charm and warm character of Windermere House, no doubt,  is why brides choosing Muskoka for their wedding, fall in love with this elegant venue. Emma and Roberts love of the water were reason for nautical inspired elements in the decor. Blue thistle mixed with white garden roses and hydrangeas were used through out the wedding.  The centrepieces were mercury vases bursting with groupings of flowers lined the guest tables for visual impact. A very special thank you to Kate Hood Photography for sharing your beautiful images with us! For always stylish decor and flowers in Muskoka region visit us at www.rachelaclingen.com

Muskoka Wedding At Delta Rocky Crest

Summer in Muskoka.. beautiful lakes and golden sunsets, some of the reasons couples choose to celebrate their weddings in this gorgeous region. Meet our lovely couple, Emma and Kurtis who are well versed in world travels, and chose to host their wedding at the Delta Rocky Crest in Muskoka. Kurtis who plays professional hockey in the Russian hockey league (KHL) and this year for the Siberian team Metallurg Novokuznetsk, is from Northern Ontario and loves the beauty of Ontario’s cottage country. The very stunning Emma, is from Finland and they actually met when Kurtis played for a Finnish team a few years back. Emma and Kurtis wanted a simple and elegant affair, nothing stuffy or pretentious. The flowers and decor reflected the couples desire for simple elegance. Soft pink peonies, cream and pink roses were the flowers of choice. The ceremony was held on the dock at Rocky Crest overlooking the beautiful lake. The decor included flowers suspended from our vintage aisle hooks and two large arrangements bursting with pretty blooms. Little Muskoka inspired details included birch candlesticks and table number holders. Thank you Rowell Photography for your timeless talents and for sharing these beautiful images with us.
