Not every one gets to celebrate a husband, father and grandfathers’ 90th birthday, but it was our familys greatest blessing to do just that. There is no one like Dad Clingen. If you know anything about our family, you know that Mr. Clingen has served our family well over the years and we are the recipients of much hard work both on our farm and in our business. It was fitting then, that our family celebrate such a special event in the very barn, Dad had initially built. It was also very special that the arrival tent was generously donated by a long time family friend, and someone who lived with the Clingens’ as a youngster. Due to inclement weather, Andrew Ussher from Premier Tents came to the rescue and donated a beutiful black tent structure. (because Andrew knows me, and it had to match.) I chose a nature inspired and masculine design for the table top. Personal nuances inspired the centrepieces. Many of the wild flowers were were gathered from our fields. It seemed a subtle connection to the many days Dad has spent in our fields… fixing fences and cutting grass, picking stones, gathering the horses.
The sweetest surprise was the arrival of special nieces and nephews from out of town and as far as Ireland as well grand children and even a great grand child from afar. We had the most wonderful time reminiscing all the ways Dad had blessed us all. A very special thanks to some long time industry freinds who contributed generously to this special day for our family. Amazing captures by Mango Studios, furniture by Detailz, and beatiful table top by Table Tales, and tent by Premier Tents. Other vendors included cake by Sweet Sister Chic Sister and Coffee bar by Espresso Uno.
