A Special 60th Wedding Anniversary Party

Every once in a while we get to have celebrations of our own, and when our parents accomplished their 60th wedding anniversary, we couldn’t wait to throw a backyard tent party! Mom and Dad Clingen are the real deal. I mean, their marriage example in many ways has served us and their grand children well and has had a lasting legacy on each of our families hearts as we navigate our own marriages. Choosing to love for a life time isn’t just about existing together, its about embracing each others strengths and weaknesses and pursuing the best for each other. This has been our example. Thankyou Mom and Dad Clingen for your legacy of love, teaching us what serving one another looks like and demonstrating the life long joy that comes with this commitment. We are mindful to thank God for his hand and blessing on Mom and Dads 60 years together. Special thanks to so many who helped make this day possible. Full list of contributors at the end of post.

When I was designing this special event, I wanted to incorporate some of Moms special things. The colour palette came straight from one of her heritage china patterns, the classic ‘Old Country Roses’ and the family table was detailed with plates from her collection.

I want to send the biggest amount of love to many of our industry friends who jumped in to help us make this day a special one. Special thanks to to Premier Tent who generously provided the tent and floor, to Laura and Co. who gifted her event planning talents on the day to ensure all went smoothly. Our friends at Detailz provided all the furniture. Paper and Poste took my inspiration and designed all the stationery and graphics. Event Graffiti supported with all the vinyl applications. My talented sister at Kake Studio Bakery created all the cakes and sweets. Plate Occasions helped with the beautiful charger plates, cutlery, and glassware. Bianca And Daniels Garden Tent Wedding At Graydon Hall

We live for summer weddings at Graydon Hall! Bianca and Daniels pretty tent wedding was inspired by an Italian garden party. Since Bianca’s parents are both from Italy, she wanted to have this beautiful heritage and feel reflected in the decor and atmosphere. We loved creating a pretty space on the terrace at Graydon Hall with an abundance of neutral toned florals. Lush greens were suspended from the canopy. Our beaded chandeliers added a rustic touch. Tall crystal candle sticks graced every table and added elegant candle light for this dreamy summer wedding.

Pretty In Pink Carousel Baby Shower

There was no pretty pink ribbons or dresses around our place, just tonka trucks, pirate costumes, overalls, and dirt bikes.
When you’ve raised three boys, and you find out your going to be a grandma of twin girls, you just can’t wait to throw a pink party! How about a baby shower prettied up with pink flowers, carousel horses, cake and cotton candy? Before precious Chloe and Cara arrived, Caleb and Chelsie cut into not one but two pink cakes to reveal the gender of their soon to arrive babies. There was no way to conceal our families excitement as we contemplated a future with little two little princesses running around. Our church family, some close friends and family showered these little ladies with abundant love and we were so touched by the kindness of so many. A very heartfelt thankyou from Chelsie and myself, to so many in the Toronto event industry who also contributed generously to make it such a special day for us. Full list of vendors at end of post.
