The pandemic may have caused a delay or two for Mark and Kristins’ wedding plans, but love wins, and after a few postponements, and the arrival of a very special little boy, the couple were finally able to celebrate with a beautiful wedding at the King Edward Hotel, in Toronto. We loved working with Laura, from Muse Events on this one and loved how every detail came together. Kristin and Mark exchanged vows in front of the prettiest dispaly of florals in the Sovereign Ball Room. Staggered gold urns of various heights created a beautiful focal point. Kristin wanted a classic and elegant look and one that worked well with both the ceremony space and the reception upstairs in the Crystal Ballroom. Special floral features that created impact and artistic flair to the room included two oversized urns filled with fresh foraged branches and flowers. The look was upscale garden and offered a hint of organic style with out compromising a formal and elevated look. Tall gold candle sticks suited the space with has high ceilings and of cours the iconic gold and crystal chandelier. Congratulations Mark and Kristin! Thank you for trusting us with your special day!
There were a few different reasons I loved working with Skylar and Adam for their stunning wedding at Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto. First off, we had worked closely with some of Adams’ siblings for their weddings and so we have to come to love this family. We also loved both Adam and Skyars creative input into their wedding design. From our first meeting, they both knew the direction they wanted to take for the floral and decor. Stylish, chic, and not over done. (it also had to be different then the other family weddings) Together with wedding planner Melissa Baum, we checked the boxes. But I also loved their engagment story because I knew it would be a good one! Sky and Adams’ story started when they met on a dating app. Little did they know, Sky’s best friend happened to be Adams’ first cousin. Six years and a home later Adam proposed.
Adam the creative an romatic type thought outside the box for the most romantic proposal location. Sky’s office is in a historical Toronto landmark and has an unbelievable concert hall on the main floor. Adam managed to book this concert hall for the special occasion.
At the end of the work day, Sky’s boss asked her to go into the concert hall to introduce herself to one of her new colleagues. When she opened the door, Adam was there with Candles, rose pedals, and a legendary concert hall all to ourselves. He popped the question and she said yes, of course. The rest is history!
I loved the simplicity and repetition of their design. White stemmed roses on repeat. The chuppah design perhaps crossed the line of ‘understated’ but it was the one thing Sky and Adam wanted fullness and texture.
I love how it turned out and was delighted once again to add a precious family tapestry to the design.
Thank you Adam and Skylar for trusting us with your special day!
Julia and Geoffs’ stunning wedding at Harding Waterfront Estate, was dream to design. From the initial design process, through to the execution of every stylish element, this wedding is all the right vibes. Collaborting with Laura from Muse Events, every detail, added style and sophistication to the over all look. The classic and elegant white on white floral design was accented with black details for a modern touch.
Julia and Geoffs eyes first met on a sunny beach in Punta Cana, while on Spring Break. As they say, the rest is history while purchasing and renovating their dream home, Geoff got down on one knee. It was all a dream and wedding plans were to be made.
Stylish and memorable elements included the most beautiful black ceremony structure detailed with contrasting clusters of white roses, peonies, and lysianthis. Beautiful Julia walked up the most dreamy (If I do say so myself) floral lined aisle. The reception tent at harding included chic black accents, like spindled chairs, and a black and white checkered dance floor, which added sophistication and style.Thank you Geoff and Julia for trusting us with your special day. And thank you for your kind note after the wedding… The last sentence is the best and made me smile!
“from the moment we met Rachel and her incredible team, we cannot sing their praises enough. Their knowledge and passion for florals and design, was evident. They went above and beyond, to bring my vision to life… Their expertise and guidance were invaluable… not to mention she has the best snack drawer ever.” Thank you so much Julia and Geoff, we are so glad you loved your florals and thrilled you loved our snack cupboard! ha ha ha
