I’m so excited to finally share Connor and Madisons’ stunning tent wedding at Muskoka Bay Club. If your a hockey fan, you might recognize Connor Brown a former Maple Leaf who currently plays for the Washington Capitols. During the summer break of 2021, the hockey star married beautiful Madison on the gorgeous golf course at Muskoka Bay Club. It wasn’t the hockey world though, that brought these two together. Madison and Connor met in grade eight in the school gym. They stayed friends. until they started dating in Madisons first year in university. Madison shares their engagement story. “I always used to tell him I think 25 is going to be the best year of my life, so he knew he wanted to get engaged after I turned 25. Because the season was so busy, it didn’t happen until January 2019. We went to Bahamas with all of our closest hockey friends and the first day we got there he had asked to go for dinner just the two of us. Since we were there with all of our friends I said I’d rather have dinner with them. When I went to the girls and asked our dinner plan they all said they were going to do their own thing so I was so confused. We got to the restaurant just Connor and I and our table wasn’t ready so we walked down the beach to a pier at the end and he proposed and when we walked back all of our friends were waiting for a beach sunset dinner for us!” The rest is history and on that special day last summer the two said ‘I do’. I loved our design meetings with these two. And if I may add, Connor may be a pro hockey player, but he also has an inkling for design. I love how invested he was in every detail! Their dreamy wedding was everything a girl, (and Connor) could want.. elegant, sophisticated, delicate and pretty. I remember installing the floral canopy with our team, and loved the transformation of the reception tent. We worked closely with wedding planner Ashley Pigott on this one so it was definitely one for the books! For a full list of vendors see bottom of post.
I’m so excited to finally share Mathew and Felicia’s beautiful wedding at Magna Golf Club. I particularly love their engagement story though.. Mathew planned to propose in the most thoughtful location… Felicia’s grandmothers garden.
Felicia’s grandmother had always wished for the couple to be engaged but sadly passed away before the proposal happened. Once she passed away, Felicia’s family kept up her garden and placed a statue of an angel there to honour her memory. Now how thoughtful is that?
I loved the creative design of this wedding and I’m still swooning over the fabulous floral treatment our team installed. The pink ombre palette was a real eye pleaser. Even the modern sleek white tables were accented with white plexiglass boxes filled with colour grouped roses. Life size pink blossom trees canopied over the guest tables and created a the perfect modern garden vibe. We worked closely with Sincerely Yours Events on this one and that made it extra special! Andrea and Nicholas celebrated their nuptials in high style, with a beautiful ceremony at St. Peters church followed by a stunning black tie reception at The Arlington Estate. High school sweet hearts, the beautiful couple received their guests into they most sophisticated reception space. Not going to lie, we were so excited to transform the west wing at Arlington with one of our most unique ceiling design concepts to date. All white flowers spiralled around long black beams which were suspended through out the room. The modern and creative look, was detailed with stylish sophistication with every element. Black carpet laid through out the entire room was next level fabulous for our design and wow, did it ever make the flowers pop on this plexiglass tables! Our team worked closely with wedding planner Michelle from Sincerely Yours Events and we are so thrilled with what our two brands can do together! I mean just look!
