John and Vanessa’s colourful wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto was one for the books. The colourful and creative palette made for exciting design meetings with Vanessa. I loved Vanessa’s enthusiasm for a unique look, when we were in design meetings together. Together with wedding planner Laura, from Muse Events, we created a fresh and creative style throughout the wedding details.
John and Vanessa met on the first day of university, but it wasn’t until a year later when they were orientation leaders together that Vanessa shared her affections for John. It worked.. because on New Years Eve, John proposed while on a secluded beach while on vacation together… and from there the wedding of their dreams was about to unfold.
I always love a unique colour palette, but one of my favourite decor features were the incredible floral trees that spanned almost fourteen feet and were over 16 feet tall! Our team designed and built these one of a kind features with branches laden with foliage and colourful flowers. I also loved the unique x shaped floor plan which allowed the trees to be anchoring focal points in the room.
Congratulations Vanessa and John! Thank you for trusting us with your flowers and decor.
They were teen sweet hearts, but thirteen years, and a law degree later, beautiful Diana and and her handsome groom James celebrated with the wedding of their dreams. Diana’s keen eye for and elegant and modern style was incorporated into every element of their beautiful wedding at Arlington Estate. Dream weddings don’t just happen, but working together with Ashley, from Ashley Pigott Events, we were able to create magic for James and Diana. Most brides we visit with have a vision of what they would love to see for their wedding day. Often, when meeting with brides, during the design process, we encourage them to prioritize what floral or decor elements are most important to them. Diana had one non-negotiable. Dancing under suspended roses was heavy on her mind and we were so excited to design the most beautiful hanging rose chandelier. I’m so glad Tara McMullen captured this moment so perfectly! I loved the groupings of all white flowers lining the table and and the tall crystal candle sticks which added warmth and sophistication. We often design and build floral trees for events but the all white blossom entrance tree was certainly one of my faves! It was definitely a showstopper as guetsts entered the venue.
Congratulations Diana and James! Thankyou for trusting us with your wedding decor and flowers!
Who doesn’t love a pretty garden wedding, especially when the reception is an el fresco affair on the stunning terrace at Graydon Hall Manor. I’m so thrilled to share with you Catherine and Mathews beautiful day. The beautiful couples’ love story began when they met, both as bridal party attendants in the wedding party of mutual friends. Catherine from Toronto and Mathew from Detroit, decided a long distance relationship was worth it, and the rest is history. Mathew proposed on the top of a ski hill where Catherines’ family has a ski chalet. The stylish couple set a wedding date and the rest is history.
Jessy worked closely with the couple as well as wedding planner Joy by Janice to design the most beautiful day filled with a classic palette of soft pinks and so many pretty details. Catherine shared “we were super impressed with Jessy, who really showcased amazing ideas that were unique to us. It can be overwhelming planning florals for a wedding, and we felt like we were in the best hands to make those decisions, with Jessy and the team at Rachel A. Clingen. ” Thank you Catherine and Mathew for trusting us with your special day. For a full list of vendors see bottom of post.
