Wayne And Crystal Simmonds Modern Wedding At Four Seasons Toronto

He might spend most of his time on the ice playing hockey for the Philadelphia Flyers, but when it came time to propose to beautiful Crystal, Wayne Simmonds, popped the question mountain top in Vail, Colorado. Originally from the Toronto area, the winter sport enthusiasts started planning for their gorgeous wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto. It was such a pleasure working with this inspiring couple and I loved Crystals open-ness to some non-traditional elements. The couple didn’t want an overly traditional wedding, and were open to modern details.  A chic black and white palette gave their wedding a edgy look while maintaining pure sophistication. We designed a modern wedding canopy for the couple with a chrome linear structure. Minimalist floral groupings added a touch of elegance. Coordinating elements of chrome and mirrored details included a custom mirror skirted head table. Guests dined at lucite gallery tables which were detailed with accents of rose gold, which connected closely with their custom innovations. It was a special day working along side wedding planner Laura from Laura & Co. Events as well as the whole Four Seasons Toronto team. For full list of vendors scroll to bottom.

Fairytale Wedding At Casa Loma

Theresa and Ryan’s gorgeous wedding at Casa Loma was representative of their fairytale story.  The couple wanted to incorporate rustic elements into the design while not compromising  a formal look.
Our team created the most spectacular floral feature on the existing  gazebo in the castle gardens for their intimate chinese wedding. Theresa and Ryan exchanged vows under the magical structure and it was certainly a show stopper. The couple also wanted to incorporate trees into their special day so we brought the outdoors into the reception tent. The colourful palette of corals and pinks was refreshing and elegant.

Pretty Poppies Wedding Creative

When wedding planner Ashley Pigott and I set out to do a creative project together, we were both excited to embrace ‘a pop’ of colour, and the playfulness of poppies for this beautiful and fun wedding creative recently featured in Wedluxe Magazine. Let me tell you that while poppies are not the most common wedding flowers and they are super delicate, but they are the perfect bloom for the bride looking for something different. Fun and colourful, and yet feminine and pretty. Some of my favourite things all in one sentence! We designed a simple yet eye catching table scape with rows of poppies, accented with little mini kumquats. If you follow along our companies story, you will know I love a pop of contrasting colour. For this reason we added various elements of yellow forsythia. It was a refreshing blend of colours and the end result is just so pleasing to the eye. Much love to the whole team who collaborated to make such a pretty creative.
