Aly And Roberts Stylish Engagement Party At Arlington Estate

Im so excited to share some of Aly and Roberts chic and stylish engagement party at Arlington Estate. Wow! Am I ever behind in blogging some of our events from the past year, but its never to late to get caught up is it? I mean Aly and Robert have already tied the knot with a show stopper wedding.. (of course) but I think we can all agree this stunning engagement party deserves to be showcased on our blog! Aly, one third of the three sister design trio ‘3 Girls And Our Closet’, and Robert first met on a school trip in Italy but didn’t start dating until five years laters The most lovely engagement happened at one of their favourite spots… by the lake at the cottage.

Together with event planner Michelle from Sincerely Yours Events, we designed and created the most stylish engagement party for the fashionable couple. I’m still not over the showstopper floral feature designed as a focal point in the lounge and cocktail area. Stay tuned for their wedding at Globe And Mail Centre because it was one for the books.

Daria And Brendans’ Stunning Wedding At Four Seasons Toronto

Daria and Brendans’ beautiful wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto was the most special day. After covid postponements, the stunning couple finally exchanged vows and celebrated in style. After a down-town church ceremony, the couple and guests were welcomed back to a stylish and sophisticated reception at the Four Seasons. Daria, a lifestyle, yoga and fitness blogger, happened to be in the same program at Queens University as Brendan, but ironically didn’t meet until they were both working in finance down town. A beautiful proposal followed on a romanic wine tour in Portugal and as they say the rest is history. I loved the design for this wedding. Our creative approach to a modern look included 8′ custom plexiglass trays filled with hundreds of white long stem roses. Extra long tall crystal candle sticks added another layer of detail and of course the romance of candle light at different heights created the most romantic atmosphere. I also loved the mono-chromatic colour palette with white plexi chairs and white rimmed charger plates. Planned perfectly by Melissa Baum, the day went off with out a hitch! Connor and Maddies Beautiful Wedding At Muskoka Bay Club

I’m so excited to finally share Connor and Madisons’ stunning tent wedding at Muskoka Bay Club. If your a hockey fan, you might recognize Connor Brown a former Maple Leaf who currently plays for the Washington Capitols. During the summer break of 2021, the hockey star married beautiful Madison on the gorgeous golf course at Muskoka Bay Club. It wasn’t the hockey world though, that brought these two together. Madison and Connor met in grade eight in the school gym. They stayed friends. until they started dating in Madisons first year in university. Madison shares their engagement story. “I always used to tell him I think 25 is going to be the best year of my life, so he knew he wanted to get engaged after I turned 25. Because the season was so busy, it didn’t happen until January 2019. We went to Bahamas with all of our closest hockey friends and the first day we got there he had asked to go for dinner just the two of us. Since we were there with all of our friends I said I’d rather have dinner with them. When I went to the girls and asked our dinner plan they all said they were going to do their own thing so I was so confused. We got to the restaurant just Connor and I and our table wasn’t ready so we walked down the beach to a pier at the end and he proposed and when we walked back all of our friends were waiting for a beach sunset dinner for us!” The rest is history and on that special day last summer the two said ‘I do’. I loved our design meetings with these two. And if I may add, Connor may be a pro hockey player, but he also has an inkling for design. I love how invested he was in every detail! Their dreamy wedding was everything a girl, (and Connor) could want.. elegant, sophisticated, delicate and pretty. I remember installing the floral canopy with our team, and loved the transformation of the reception tent. We worked closely with wedding planner Ashley Pigott on this one so it was definitely one for the books! For a full list of vendors see bottom of post.
