We always love weddings at Royal Ambassador Event Centre in Caledon and have designed many different concepts for weddings there, but when Lindsey came to us with her ideas for a Mexican inspired wedding, we couldn’t wait to get to work! Lindsey’s fiancé was from Mexico and this beautiful couple wanted to capture the colour and beauty of this region, while still maintaining elegant feel. Palm leaves and other colourful elements gave the ceremony a tropical feel. The centrepieces were bright and cheery and most were designed in blue and white pottery vessels, common to the Mexican region. Guests couldn’t help but notice all the cute and whimsy accents such as a chalk board menu and colourful directions sign. A mariachi band serenaded the guests as they entered the beautifully decorated reception tent. Vintage bottles with fresh cuts of flowers adorned the head table and added to the eclectic feel. A special shout out to the hugely talented Jennifer Ballard for gorgeous photos. Loved her attention to detail! Absolutely loved working with this inspiring couple, and we wish them the very best.
