Courtney and Anthony Peluso, tied the knot, last summer, at the nostalgic Metropolitan United Church in Toronto, followed by a beautiful reception in the Governors Room at Liberty Grand. Anthony is a right winger for the NHL’s Winnipeg jets, so Courtney made a trip or two to Toronto for our design appointments. I have fond memories our times together, not only with the excitement of designing their wedding and the creative fun we had together, but also our chats about life in general. Courtney wanted to infuse the freshness of spring and brighten up the church as well as the lovely Governors Room at Liberty Grand. Large planters filled with cherry blossom and garden roses lined the aisle. White large urns filled with beautiful fresh flowers graced the alter. The theme was carried through the reception. Romantic, elegant and splashed with garden elements, guests were blown away, as they entered the room. The decor for the ceremony and reception was magical. Rows of oversized vases filled with white and blush cherry blossoms lined gallery tables and mixed flowers were used for the centrepieces on round tables. Anthony and Courtney dined at an intimate table for two amongst hedges of cherry blossoms and garden roses. What a beautiful day for a beautiful couple.
