NHL’er and Toronto Maple Leaf John Tavares, hung his skates up to celebrate his incredible wedding with his beautiful bride Aryne on a especially hot summer day. It was such a pleasure to do the floral and decor for their vineyard wedding hosted in a beautiful tent at Peller Estates. Aryne wanted and elegant affair that embraced the warm romance of the Niagara vineyards. Aryne’s infectious smile and warm spirit made for wonderful creative meetings and we had so much fun collaborating with wedding planner Laura from Laura and Co. We had understated elegance in mind when we designed the ceremony which over looking the beautiful vineyards. Our team created a gorgeous organic floral arch that created a pretty focal point for the couple to exchange vows. We also designed and created a rustic yet refined atmosphere with beautiful trailing florals and foliage. A show stopper enormous floral chandelier was suspended over the dance floor area and created an intimate feel in the large tent. In addition life size trees were placed strategically through out the tent. Thank you John and Aryne for trusting us with your special day! xo

He might spend most of his time on the ice playing hockey for the Philadelphia Flyers, but when it came time to propose to beautiful Crystal, Wayne Simmonds, popped the question mountain top in Vail, Colorado. Originally from the Toronto area, the winter sport enthusiasts started planning for their gorgeous wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto. It was such a pleasure working with this inspiring couple and I loved Crystals open-ness to some non-traditional elements. The couple didn’t want an overly traditional wedding, and were open to modern details. A chic black and white palette gave their wedding a edgy look while maintaining pure sophistication. We designed a modern wedding canopy for the couple with a chrome linear structure. Minimalist floral groupings added a touch of elegance. Coordinating elements of chrome and mirrored details included a custom mirror skirted head table. Guests dined at lucite gallery tables which were detailed with accents of rose gold, which connected closely with their custom innovations. Theresa and Ryan’s gorgeous wedding at Casa Loma was representative of their fairytale story. The couple wanted to incorporate rustic elements into the design while not compromising a formal look.
