Over the years, Rachel and David Clingen have built an unrivaled team of experts designing some of the most luxurious and  stylish weddings in the Toronto and Muskoka regions.  This dynamic duo along with their dedicated and highly experienced team has facilitated the impressive transformation of many wedding venues and tents all over Ontario. Winning several national event design awards, their combined creative skills are matched by their exceptional personal care and customer service.

Rachel

Rachel A. Clingen - Principal Designer

Rachel A. Clingen - Principal Designer / Creative Director

Award winning, Principal designer/Creative Director, Rachel Clingen brings her acute sense of visual aesthetics and her passion for colour, form, and texture to every assignment. She has the uncanny ability to visualize a transformation in any room and make it happen regardless of the design challenge.  Her love for all things pretty, flowers and interior design are the driving force behind her successful career. 

Rachel’s designs have been seen in publications and blogs throughout Canada and internationally. Born and raised in northern Ontario, Rachel has a love for the outdoors.   On their time off, Rachel and her husband David are passionate about time together separate from the wedding and event industry.  They look forward to time off at their Caledon farm where they raise quarter horses for the sport of barrel racing which means always trying to squeeze in a barrel race into their hectic schedule.  In addition, David and Rachel love to relax, serve and worship with their church family.  They have three boys Caleb, Josiah and Jacob as well as beautiful daughter in-law, Chelsie. 

David

David Clingen - Operations Manager

David Clingen - Operations Manager

David is the technical backbone of the team with his 20 years of experience in Toronto wedding and event production and tent rental businesses. He ensures smooth operations with setup, logistics, and equipment at various sites managing the critical details so that everything comes together on time and on budget.

Jessy

Jessica Toomey - Creative Director / General Manager

Jessica Toomey - Creative Director / General Manager

In her role of Creative Director, Jessy consistently exceeds our customers’ expectations, designing some of Toronto’s most styish events and weddings. Jessy is an edgy designer whose talents are a huge asset to our creative team.

Jessy pulls double duty and is also the General Manager of our draping and floral departments.

While Jessy was a full time student in university, she was kind enough to fit in a few extra hours working part time with our design crew. Rachel and Jessy ended up on an assignment together and it quickly became very clear to Rachel that Jessy was a keeper. Rachel recalls that day “I was impressed with Jessy’s efficiency, happy spirit and creative edge. These are all things required for our team members. I knew that Jessy was committed to her school and obtaining her degree so I made a plea bargain with her right on the spot. I asked her if she would consider taking a leadership roll within our company upon her commencement, we would hold a place for her. We were thrilled when she said she would call us first to discuss career opportunities.” Jessy continued to work part time until she graduated, always demonstrating leadership, customer care and of course a wicked sense of creative style.

When Jessy enjoys a day off she prefers a slower pace then the craziness of the event industry and relaxes with her husband Adam and their sweet little short haired ‘Zoey’

Andrea

Andrea Macri - Lead Florist

Andrea is ‘behind the scenes’ and you may not get to meet her, but rest assured she is a key team leader in our company. In her role as our lead florist, Andrea manages our floral department and ensures beautiful blooms every time. Her experience in high-end floral design spans over 14 years and we are proud and grateful to have her on our team. Andrea’s commitment to customer satisfaction and quality control are second to none. Her friendly smile and ability to handle the extreme pressures of the event industry along with her passion for flowers make here the perfect fit for our flower department.  Andrea enjoys time off with her husband Tony, and her two beautiful children, Aiden and Laila along with her adorable fur baby Maui. 

Stephanie

Stephanie Day - Creative Director

Stephanie Day - Creative Director

Stephanie joined our team in October 2014. As the newest member of our management team, she if often the person that will be at the other end of the phone when you call our main office. She is one of our main employees responsible for providing outstanding customer service to new and already booked clients.

She graduated from Fanshawe college with an interior decorating diploma and has always been naturally creative, excelling in an environments that nurture this quality. In the office, Stephanie’s detailed oriented and organized nature keeps things running smoothly and efficiently.

Stephanie has an eye for the components and fundamentals of design. She has the ability to visualize a space to provide our clients with suggestions and direction to determine what will best transform their venue

In her free time she enjoys practicing yoga and spending time with her boyfriend Kevin and dog Archie.

Coming from a career as an interior decorator. Stephanie is still amazed, in wedding design, at how rewarding it is to be able to transform a space within hours to what the client has always imagined. “A lot of work goes into the process leading up to the event but once we are on site, everyone jumps into action and it is a very exciting operation to be a part of.”

Joseé

Joseé - Creative Director

Joseé - Creative Director

Don’t let Joseé’s youthful beauty fool you! She has actually one of our most senior employees! A wife to her husband Dale and a mother of three little ones, Levi, Kaela and Avery, Josee has been with us more then 16 years! Starting as a student, Joseé has worked in every department of our company, including management, so she knows the in and outs of every corner around here. She is passionate about design, organization, planning and timely execution but is particularly known for her sweet disposition and her relationships with our brides. Our couples love her fresh ideas and her knowledge of our product line. Her calm yet focused personality make her a fabulous fit for the event and wedding industry and of course one of our team leaders. Joseé loves time off enjoying sewing, hiking and spending time with her family.
