The most special delivery, a baby boy, is on the way, and we loved designing the most stylish baby shower for our clients and proud parents S & H! There was no shortage of beautiful blue and fluffy delphiniums for this design. We often get asked, “What do you do with all those flowers after an event?”. Well no worries here, because nothing was wasted. Every guest went home with a personally wrapped bundle of the beautiful blooms. Lots of extra for Mom-to-be of course. We worked closely with Toronto Event Planner and friend, Michelle, from Sincerely Yours Events on this one and rest assured, every detail was perfect! The sweetest sweets included petite hot air balloon cookies and stunning macaroon towers from the talented artist Nadia from Nadia & Co. The focal point of design interest for the flowers and decor was found in the middle of the room and surrounded Nadias’ sweet treats. Our fabulous, metal hot air balloons grounded with mounds of delphiniums were a show stopper. Possibly one of my favourite looks for a baby shower! Our metal hot air balloons, filled with delphiniums, created a stunning area to display the adorable blue macaroon towers. The concept for the baby shower, ‘Special Delivery’ was developed around the hot air balloons. How cute is that?

There was no pretty pink ribbons or dresses around our place, just tonka trucks, pirate costumes, overalls, and dirt bikes.
When you’ve raised three boys, and you find out your going to be a grandma of twin girls, you just can’t wait to throw a pink party! How about a baby shower prettied up with pink flowers, carousel horses, cake and cotton candy? Before precious Chloe and Cara arrived, Caleb and Chelsie cut into not one but two pink cakes to reveal the gender of their soon to arrive babies. There was no way to conceal our families excitement as we contemplated a future with little two little princesses running around. Our church family, some close friends and family showered these little ladies with abundant love and we were so touched by the kindness of so many. A very heartfelt thankyou from Chelsie and myself, to so many in the Toronto event industry who also contributed generously to make it such a special day for us. Full list of vendors at end of post.
